The Wagenhausen campsite was founded in 1959 as a small site for tents, in the canton of Thurgau right beside the Rhine. Over the years, the campsite has been modernised and enlarged. It has become a popular spot for both holidaymakers and locals. Besides using the campground, visitors can rent circus wagons, the “Schwalbennestli” or CocoSweet® glamping tents. The Restaurant serves delicious seasonal specialties from Thurgau accompanied by wine from the family's own vineyard. Furthermore, campers can use the mini-golf course or rent a bicycle to ride along the Rhine and the Lake of Constance.

In my role as digital design lead I was responsible for this web design project in its sketching, prototyping and final design stage. I was asked to redesign their online presence and make the site more easy to navigate and the information showed on the site pleasing to the eye. Goal was to make online bookings more user friendly and to develop a CMS which is simple to manage and to quickly update the sites news. Thanks to a new visual concept, the design and color scheme of the web site is now reflecting the personality and marketing identity of the Wagenhausen’s campground.

This branding project was undertaken while working at Strichpunkt GmbH, Winterthur.
